Terms & privacy
NetBench is sold by Swifty Software as a yearly subscription. You can use the full Windows app on one PC for 7 days without a subscription. After that, a current yearly subscription is required. Paying through Stripe licenses the Windows app while the subscription is entitled. After payment we email the license key to the address used at checkout. The Windows installer is also available from this site during the trial.
Trial
A 7-day trial starts the first time you launch NetBench on a PC. The trial is recorded on that machine. When it ends, the app returns to the license screen until you enter a valid key.
Subscription
The fee is billed yearly in advance. You can cancel in the Stripe customer portal. After cancel, NetBench stays licensed until the end of the period you already paid. When that period ends, the app stops working until you subscribe again.
The license key is personal. Do not publish it. Up to three PCs may use the key at a time. Reinstalling on the same machine is allowed. Moving to a new PC is allowed; if all three seats are taken, the new copy lets you pick which machine to deactivate, which stops the previous one at its next license check.
What we store
On this site: your email, Stripe customer and subscription IDs, license key, subscription status, the current period end, hashed identifiers for the licensed PCs, and those PCs’ computer names. Card numbers are handled only by Stripe.
In the Windows app, on your PC: the trial start time, license key, email, last successful check, whether this PC holds a seat, and the period end — alongside the Watch lists and settings NetBench already keeps in your user profile.
License checks
The app periodically asks this site whether the key is still entitled and whether this PC holds a seat. If the trial has ended, the subscription is not renewed, the key is unknown, or this PC is not one of the three licensed machines, NetBench disables monitoring and shows the license screen.
